When we live in an age of smart phones, iPads and HD television, it’s pretty easy to get lost in all the techno-wizardry of the time.  But where is the true magic of the holiday season?  Do we find it in shopping mall Santa’s, artificial Christmas trees, and holiday window displays?  The genius of Robert Fulghum may have us think otherwise.  In this holiday gem, he will have you rolling with laughter in one moment and pulling deep at are heartstrings in the next.  To our amazement he does it with just good old-fashioned storytelling.

What is Christmas?  In Fulguhm's words, "It's about a child of long ago and far away.  And it's about a child of now, in you and me today."  It is certainly something to ponder.  I absolutely adore this show because it invokes our imagination and takes us to places that we have been before and places where we long to be.  It reminds us of who we are and how we are all connected.

If you open your hearts and minds to this production, I think you just may find the magic of the season.  This outstanding cast, crew and combo will take you to a place where everyone can feel, “forgiven, and trusted, and loved.”  That’s a pretty good place to be any time of the year. Fulghum’s gift to us, is our gift to you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
